Introduction to Android...


        History :

 

 - Initially, Andy Rubin founded Android Incorporation in Palo Alto, California, the United States in October 2003. In 2004 the project changed to become an operating system for smartphones.

 

On 17th August 2005, Google acquired android Incorporation. Since then, it is in the subsidiary of Google Incorporation.


-  The key employees of Android Incorporation are Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Chris White and Nick Sears.


- Originally intended for the camera but shifted to smartphones later because of a low market for camera only.


- Android is the nickname of Andy Rubin given by coworkers because of his love for robots.


-  In 2007, Google announces the development of android OS and in 2008, HTC launched the first android mobile.


-  The beta version of Android OS was released on November 5, 2007, while the software development kit (SDK) was released on November 12, 2007.


-  The first Android mobile was publicly released with Android 1.0 of the T-Mobile G1 by HTC in October 2008.

             Android ecosystem is nothing but the relationship between Users, Developers /                     Programmers, and Hardware equipment makers, the Android ecosystem is nothing                 but the mutual dependence between Users, Developers, and equipment makers. they              are independent of each other so one cannot exist without the other.
